It must be spring!
Hi! This is me, Teddy. See that arrow on the right? I hit that from about 15 feet away! I got that bull's eye on my second class of this session. On my first class I got one almost as good. I really like archery and I meet a lot of really nice friends during the classes. The picture below, that's me with my bull's eye. I am really proud with how accurately I hit that target. Archery takes a lot of concentration. The first time I hit a bull's eye I got a little cocky and didn't do as well the rest of the class. A lot of people think that arrows need to be super pointy to get through anything but that is completely not true. The arrows we use are a little rounded at the tip. the bow gives the arrow so much momentum that it does not matter if the arrow is super pointy or not. I like archery with targets, it is really, really fun. But I hate that people go bow hunting so, as you can see, I don't think the term bull's eye should be literal. :-) BYE!
